....and before we know it the second week is upon us! Here are my lesson plans for this upcoming week. This weeks lesson plans come straight from Jump Start . I have taken their ideas, which are not created specifically for school counselors, and connected with the corresponding standards. Enjoy!
Hi All,
I had a really great time getting to meet all the students and a wonderful time getting to know each classrooms unique environment and group dynamics. The staff are beyond amazing at both schools and I feel lucky to be invited in each week to your children's classroom. With that week behind us, I want to post the lesson plan from last week. Typically, different grade levels will have different activities, but where we are all getting to know each other the goals were all the same, hence one lesson plan, and not five (K, 1, 2, 3, 4). Here is to a wonderful year! Nicole Title of Lesson: Meet and Greet Grade: K-4 Date: August 31st, 2015 Time Required: 30 Minutes Goal 1. Sense of belonging in the school environment
